WEEKEND PREVIEW - SEPTEMBER 21
A fairly full programme of league games this weekend, starting with a Friday night special in the Senior Division, a good one too, as Hedge End Rangers, whose seven match winning run was ended last weekend, take on Andover Town.
On Saturday, new leaders Colden Common will be looking to stay top of the table as they entertain mid-table Whitehill & Bordon, especially since closest challengers Liphook United don't have a game. Locks Heath, in third, travel to Stockbridge. who had a good win at Hedge End Rangers last weekend.
It's all pretty close in the bottom half of the table, and there are a few games between teams in that region: bottom club Paulsgrove play Moneyfields Res at KGV Cosham.
Liss Athletic, who had a good win at Bishops Waltham in midweek, face a tricky trip to Meon Milton, who are sixth; Hook entertain Harvest, and Bishops Waltham Dynamos host seventh-placed Denmead, who beat Liphook last time out.
Sway have a weekend away from league action as they have an away game against QK Southampton Reserves in the Southampton Senior Cup.
In Division One, leaders Broughton, having beaten nearest challengers Crofton Saints last Saturday, have another home game this time around as they host AFC Netley. Crofton are still in second and have an attractive game at Rushmoor Community, who have moved into fifth.
The two teams immediately below the top two are also in action, they play against opposition in the bottom four, who can be dangerous on their day: Upham travel to Headley United, and Overton host Twentyten. It's a battle of the bottom two as Hayling United are at home to QK Southampton, neither team having registered a win yet.
Two teams who are looking to challenge the top five face each other at the Norman Rodaway as Hedge End Town play Whiteley Wanderers. and two teams new to the Division who are going well battle it out as Silchester Village host Mob Albion.
