WEEKEND PREVIEW - SEPTEMBER 28
A complete league programme coming up this weekend, weather permitting.
Senior Division leaders Colden Common have won seven in a row in the league, but this time out face a tricky trip to Liss Athletic, who have won their last two, including an excellent win at Meon Milton last weekend.
Locks Heath got back on track and rose to second in midweek after a good 5-1 win at Moneyfields Res, and they are home to bottom club Paulsgrove, who ended their losing run last weekend.
Liphook didn't play last Saturday and will be looking to make up for that as they travel to fifth-placed Hedge End Rangers, who have lost their last two after a run of seven wins in a row.
Stockbridge are now in the top four and have a home game against Harvest, who may be third bottom, but have been hard to beat recently. Andover Town are a team on the up; four league games won in succession now, and they face an interesting trip to Bishops Waltham Dynamos, who had a good win last time out.
Second-bottom Sway have a couple of games in hand on those above them and they are at Meon Milton this weekend. Teams that around the lower mid-table region but will be looking to improve on it all play each other as Denmead host Whitehill & Bordon and Hook play Moneyfields Res.
In Division One, leaders Broughton will be looking to make it eight wins out of eight with a home game against Twentyten, who have only won one league game so far. Nearest challengers Crofton Saints, fresh from an excellent win at Rushmoor last weekend, will have to be on top form again as they travel to Mob Albion.
The teams behind the top two are in decent form too, and both have opponents who have had some poor results recently; Upham have a trip to AFC Netley and Overton host Whiteley Wanderers. The bottom two have difficult trips this weekend; bottom club QK Southampton, who gained their first point last weekend, travel to Hedge End Town, who are getting into gear and have risen to fifth, and Hayling United are at Headley United.
Finally, two 'new boys' who are nicely placed just behind the top five play each other as Silchester Village entertain Rushmoor Community.
