Almost a full progamme of league games to come this weekend, as we start to get to the business end of the season. In the Senior Division, the standout game sees leaders Locks Heath, who performed well at AFC Stoneham in midweek, travel to Crofton Saints, who are fourth, but with games in hand on the two teams above them. The two met in the Hampshire Saturday Trophy earlier in the season and Crofton were convincing winners. Hook could overtake current second-placed Hedge End Rangers, who don't have a game, if they win against bottom club Andover Town at home. Another big game sees Bishops Waltham Dynamos, in sixth after going ten league games unbeaten, entertain AFC Shirley, in fifth, but with games in hand on all above them. Moneyfields Res are still seventh but have lost three on the spin, they will look to get back on track with a home game against Liss Athletic, who have also lost their last three games. Further down the table an important game sees second-bottom Stockbridge play fourth-bottom Meon Milton, who have run into a bit of form recently. Another team in the bottom five, Southsea Sports, who have won their last two, host Whitehill & Bordon. Third-bottom Liphook United also need the points, and they play Broughton, who have only lost once in their six league games. In Division One, leaders Overton United are at home against Rushmoor Community, who are just above the bottom four. Closest challengers AFC Netley, six points behind Overton with two games in hand, have a tough trip to Nursling & Shirley, themselves within striking distance of the top five. BTC Southampton, in third, will play for the first time this month and are at home to third-bottom Twentyten. If they slip up, then fifth-placed Whiteley Wanderers could rise as high as third (although they have played more games compared to the others) if they beat second-bottom Mob Albion. Headley United aim to continue their great run as they host Sway, now fourth-bottom and without a win in five. Bottom club Paulsgrove picked up their first point in ages last weekend, and this time they play at Hayling United. The one cup game we do have sees Division One Silchester Village aim to reach the North Hants Intermediate Cup final as they host Laverstock & Ford Res. Overton reached the final last weekend.

Improved weather, and a busy weekend, mainly league games, with a couple of important cup games thrown in for good measure. Our sole remaining representative in the Hampshire Saturday Trophy , Crofton Saints, play their semi-final this weekend, they have a trip to Surrey Intermediate side Hart United, who have already eliminated two HPFL sides. In the Senior Division, leaders Locks Heath are now four points clear with games in hand, and they have a home game this Saturday against second-bottom Liphook United. With second-placed Crofton in cup action, the two sides level with them on points could overtake them with wins; Hook are at home to Bishops Waltham Dynamos, who are unbeaten in ten league games, and Hedge End Rangers host Liss Athletic, who haven't played for the last two weeks. Also not out of the race, in fifth and with games in hand, is AFC Shirley, and they host third-bottom Stockbridge, who will be on a high after a great cup win at Romsey on Thursday. Level with them on points are Moneyfields Res, who will be looking to get back on track after two successive home defeats; they travel to Meon Milton who ended a poor run with a great win at Crofton last weekend. Southsea Sports also had a great win last weekend and will look to build on that with a win against bottom side Andover Town. Two teams in mid-table face each other at the Daly as Whitehill & Bordon play Broughton. In Division One, with leaders Overton in cup action, second-placed AFC Netley have an opportunity to reduce the gap at the top with a win at Sway, who are now fourth-bottom after one point from the last four games. Hedge End Town could go third with a win at bottom club Paulsgrove. It's sixth v fifth at the Oasis as Whiteley Wanderers host Silchester Village. Nursling & Shirley have games in hand on those above but have lost last three of their last four; they travel to Rushmoor Community, who ended a poor run with a win last Saturday. There is also a bottom-five clash as in-form Headley United could move into mid-table if they beat Mob Albion. We also have an all-Division One game in the North Hants Intermediate Cup when leaders Overton United face a trip to Twentyten.

If the weather is kind this weekend then we have two important cup matches, in addition to several league games. Our own cup competitions reach the semi-final stage, and one in each competition is scheduled for this weekend. In the uhlsport League Cup , we have a clash between top five sides in the Senior Division as AFC Shirley entertain in-form Hedge End Rangers. In the George Mason Memorial Shield it's an all-Division 1 matchup as third-top BTC Southampton play second-bottom Mob Albion. In the Senior Division , Locks Heath are still ahead but only by one point (although they have games in hand). After another great performance against a Wessex team in midweek, they have a difficult trip this weekend to one of the clubs chasing them, Hook. Another chasing club, Crofton Saints, have a home game against fourth bottom Meon Milton. At the other end of the table, last-placed Andover Town host Bishops Waltham Dynamos, who are mid-table, but with games in hand, are looking up the table rather than down. Third-bottom Stockbridge host unpredictable Denmead A local matchup at the JJ sees Moneyfields Reserves play Southsea Sports, with the promise of a top five place for the home side if they win. Division One sees leaders Overton United visit Sway, whom they beat 1-0 at home a month ago. Closest challengers AFC Netley, with games in hand, are at fourth-placed Hedge End Town in what promises to be a cracker. It's seventh v fifth as Nursling & Shirley are at home to Silchester Village. In between them are Whiteley Wanderers, who will look to continue their good form at Hayling United, who are also on the way up again, having won their last two. A bottom-four clash sees Headley United, in decent form, entertain Twentyten. In the Aldershot Intermediate Cup there is a local derby when Senior Division clubs Liphook United and Whitehill & Bordon meet.
