WEEKEND PREVIEW - FEB 11

Feb 09, 2023

We start in the Senior Division, where leaders Andover New Street Swifts host promotion hopefuls Clanfield, currently in good form in fifth place and in the semi-finals of the Hampshire Saturday Trophy.

The other Hampshire Saturday Trophy semi-finalists, Colden Common, in fourth, travel to second-placed Stockbridge, the other promotion hopeful.

COMING UP - FIXTURES

Locks Heath, in third, host Moneyfields Reserves (reversed fixture), who are now second bottom after a poor run of form.

There's a big game at the bottom of the table too as Hayling United, who climbed out of the bottom two last Saturday, host last-placed Overton United.

LEAGUE TABLES

Just behind the top five, Harvest (home to Liphook United) and Denmead (who travel to Liss Athletic - pictured, in blue) will be looking to make up ground against lower-placed sides. QK Southampton host Paulsgrove needing the points as they sit just above the bottom two, and Winchester Castle will be looking to build on three away wins and move further up the table as they host Sway (pictured, in red).

In Division One, leaders Infinity's game at home to Broughton is already off with the visitors unable to raise a side, so Hook can make up ground on them if they beat Twentyten, who are in fourth.

Headley United, in third, travel to bottom club Michelmersh and Timsbury. Hedge End Town and Meon Milton can challenge the top five as they play each other at the Norman Rodaway.

AFC Netley's game at home to Upham is another battle of teams hoping to move up the table, whereas third-bottom Whiteley Wanderers' visit to second-bottom Lyndhurst is an important battle at the wrong end of the table.
