CLANFIELD PROMOTED

May 15, 2023

Our congratulations to Clanfield who have gained promotion back to the Wessex League, following the release of the FA's provisional club allocations on Monday.

Lee Blakely's side currently occupy second spot in the Senior Division heading into their final game of the campaign on Wednesday night (May 17) at Liphook United (6.45pm), having already guaranteed the top-five finish they required, while sailing through the ground grading process in sharing at Havant & Waterlooville's Westleigh Park.

Clanfield will feature in a 21-team Division One in 2023/24, re-joining the Wessex League having last played in the now defunct Division Two in 2006/07.

Following the FA's announcement, The Hampshire Premier League - a Regional Feeder League - is now in a position to consider its own constitution, details of which will be released at the AGM on June 11, to be held at Winchester City FC.
