WEEKEND PREVIEW - SEPT 23

Sep 21, 2023

Look no further than Locks Heath Recreation Ground for 'match of the day' as the third-placed hosts - still unbeaten in the Senior Division - are playing leaders Liphook United.

Second-placed Denmead face a tricky trip to Paulsgrove; Liss Athletic have a game against Moneyfields Reserves - reversed to Newman Collard - and Harvest, in fifth, head to the New Forest to take on Sway.

COMING-UP - FIXTURES

Infinity travel to Fleet Spurs who are continuing to seek their first win, while Stockbridge host Colden Common - a win for the Robins could see them end the day in the top five.

Hook versus Hayling United is an intriguing bottom-five clash. A rejuvenated Whitehill & Bordon will be looking to making home advantage count once more as they welcome Bishops Waltham Dynamos to BOSC.

In Division One, the game of the day is leaders Hedge End Town, fresh from a 9-1 win, at home to third-placed Headley United, who suffered their first league defeat last week.

TABLES

Meon Milton, in second - who like HET are undefeated - will hope to put the pressure on the leaders with a trip to Michelmersh & Timsbury.

Whiteley Wanderers, with a 100% record in fourth, and fresh from a big Southampton Senior Cup win last weekend, host Twentyten, who gained their first league win last time out.

Hedge End Rangers will be looking to continue from their impressive midweek cupset at Locks Heath as they host Overton United at Deer Park, meet at the Deer Park.

Lyndhurst currently prop-up the rest but looking to build on two recent draws as they face mid-table Upham, who will be looking to get back on track after last week's heavy loss at Hedge End Town. Finally, two teams in the bottom four, Broughton and AFC Netley clash at The Sports Field.
