WEEKEND PREVIEW - AUGUST 20

PAR002_123 • Aug 20, 2022

In the Senior Division, Stockbridge and Locks Heath, both unbeaten after three games, have home fixtures to contend with, against Paulsgrove and Overton respectively (Locks' game is at Bay House, starting 2pm).

Of the other teams unbeaten after three, Clanfield don't have a game, and Hayling have a home game against Liphook United, still looking to get off the mark after four games.

Whitehill and Bordon have made a good start, and their game at Moneyfields Res should be a good one. Two teams who recorded their first wins in midweek, Sway and Andover NS Swifts, meet at Jubilee Field.

QK entertain a team who is tipped to do well this season, Harvest. The same fixture was a cracking 3-3 draw in Division One SE last season. Finally, champions Colden Common will be looking to make up for defeat at Clanfield in midweek (pictured) as they are at home to Liss Athletic, and runners-up Denmead are at home to Winchester Castle.

In Division One, teams have only played one or two games so no real patterns emerging yet. Infinity have a tough-looking game at Headley United as they look to improve on the midweek home draw with Hedge End Town.

Town face a difficult trip too, to Twentyten, who beat Hook in midweek. Hook, no points so far, travel to Meon Milton, who put eight past Whiteley in their first game.

Lyndhurst, who won a league game for the first time since February, will try and get a second as they host AFC Petersfield, who have lost their first two. Broughton have had a good start and travel to Clarendon looking to build on that.

Michelmersh and Timsbury play their first league game of the season, not an easy one at Upham. Whiteley Wanderers look to bounce back from that mauling at Meon as they travel to AFC Netley, who had a good win at Lyndhurst in their first game.
