WEEKEND PREVIEW - 21 MARCH
This weekend we have one cup game and almost a full complement of league games.
We have the second semi final in the George Mason Memorial Shield, where bottom-four Senior division sides Meon Milton and Andover Town clash at the Cockleshell. The winners face BTC in the final.
With Locks Heath v Hook at the top of the Senior Division off, the focus moves to their challengers. Second-placed Hedge End Rangers, six league wins in a row, could move level with Locks at the top if they win at home to Whitehill & Bordon, but they are seventh, and four league games unbeaten.
Just behind the top three, fourth-placed Crofton Saints travel to improving Stockbridge, Bishops Waltham Dynamos will look to continue their long unbeaten run as they face Southsea Sports, and AFC Shirley host Broughton.
Third-bottom Liphook United had a good win last weekend and will look for a repeat at home to mid-table Denmead, whose form is rather inconsistent.
In Division One, the top three all won last week. This time, leaders Overton United travel to third-bottom Twentyten. They won there in the cup two weeks ago.
AFC Netley, with games in hand, can still catch them and are at Rushmoor Community. There is a big game at the BTC Ground as third play fourth, BTC Southampton playing Whiteley Wanderers, both teams bang in form. Behind them, Fifth-placed Hedge End Town, who have only played three times this year, have a tough task at in-form Headley United, and Silchester Village, in sixth, host Hayling United.
We have a battle of the bottom two at their shared venue at Cosham, Mob Albion playing Paulsgrove, who have drawn their last two. Mob won the reverse fixture 5-1 at the end of October, and they haven't had a league win since.
