LEAGUE STATEMENT

1 April 2026

The Hampshire Premier Football League are saddened to report that popular hard working secretary Paul Crocker passed away this morning following a short illness.

His partner Jess and sons were with him.

Our thoughts and condolences are with them at this difficult time.

As mentioned, Paul was immensely popular with all clubs and committee members and liked to get out and about every Saturday watching a game in the league and compiling a match report for that weeks' Hog Post and threw himself head first into league business at all times.

He was truly one of a kind.

There will be a minutes silence at all HPFL matches this weekend and clubs at home Bank Holiday Monday and next midweek not at home Saturday are requested to also take part.

In the short term whilst a replacement is found, member clubs are requested to contact the relevant league officer directly relating to their query with outside agencies asked to contact League Chairman, Tim de Trafford.

RIP Paul
