WEEKEND PREVIEW - 21 FEBRUARY

A full programme of league games is scheduled for the coming weekend. Let's see what the weather holds.... as ever, check Full Time for any late changes.

 

In the Senior Division, leaders Locks Heath, now four points clear, host second-bottom Liphook United. Behind them are three teams allon the same number of points. Crofton Saints travel to bottom-five side Southsea Sports, Hook host Denmead, still on the fringes of the top five, and Hedge End Rangers are at home to Broughton, a team in decent form.


AFC Shirley, who are now fifth, play Whitehill & Bordon, who drew at Crofton last weekend. At the other end of the table bottom club Andover Town travel to Liss Athletic, who have only won one of their last eight league games; Stockbridge are third from last and host Moneyfields Res, whose good run was ended by Locks Heath last time out, but are still in sixth, and Meon Milton, who haven't won a league game in twelve attempts, host Bishops Waltham Dynamos, a team they lost 0-1 to at Mountbatten last week.

 

In Division One Overton United have opened up a six point lead at the top and this Saturday host second-bottom Mob Albion, a team they beat 6-2 last weekend. AFC Netley, with two games in hand on the leaders, are at third-last Twentyten.


It's third v fourth at BTC as the home side, no goals conceded in five games, play Hedge End Town, who have won their last four. Looking to challenge them all are Silchester Village, who play at Hayling United, who won their first game in a while last weekend.


Bottom club Paulsgrove host Whiteley Wanderers, who are still on a rich vein of form in sixth place. Nursling & Shirley have games in hand on the top five and travel to Headley United, who lost at Hayling last week after three wins in a row. Two teams looking to keep away from the bottom five are Rushmoor Community and Sway, who meet this Saturday.
