WEEKEND PREVIEW - 13 DECEMBER
This weekend, again weather permitting, we have a mixture of cup games and league games.
Most of the cup games are Hampshire Saturday Trophy ones that were postponed last week.
Andover Town play Bournemouth Sports, doing well in the Dorset Premier League, there is an all-HPFL encounter as Senior Division Liphook United meet Hook, and there are three ties where HPFL sides play reserve/development teams: AFC Shirley host Petersfield Town Res, BTC Southampton host Folland Sports 'A' and AFC Netley travel to Eversley & California Res.
We also have a League Cup quarter final as Southsea Sports entertain Locks Heath.
In the Senior Division, leaders Crofton Saints look to continue their 100% record at their new home in Gosport as they face Liss Athletic, still fifth but on a run of three defeats.
Both Denmead and Hedge End Rangers can overtake Liss if they win at home against Broughton and away at Moneyfields Res respectively.
The Mead are currently one point ahead of Rangers. Whitehill & Bordon will be full of confidence after their win at IOW leaders Whitecroft & Barton last weekend as they travel to Meon Milton, who lost to Lyndhurst in the same competition.
Second-bottom Stockbridge travel to Bishops Waltham Dynamos.
In Division One, Overton United are now only top on goal difference after losing their 100% record to Hedge End Town last week. They host Rushmoor Community this time out so will need to bounce back.
Hedge End Town, after that win, travel to Hayling United. Sixth-placed Nursling & Shirley host third-placed Silchester Village in a big game at the Hive. Four of the bottom five meet as Mob Albion play Sway, and Whiteley Wanderers host Paulsgrove (currently bottom).
