The uhlsport Hampshire Premier League are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Website & Social Media Manager.

ABOUT THE ROLE

* Fundamentally, the successful individual will continue to positively promote the uhlsport Hampshire Premier League through digital means on the website and across social media.

* Add the weekly Hog Post newsletter to the website (copy provided)

* Promotion of the weekend's fixture preview (copy provided) both on the website and via social media

* Create a consistent brand identity across all messaging

* Ensure cup competition scores are maintained and latest draws displayed

* Promote initiatives from both within the league and via outside bodies - for example the FA's 'Play Safe' weekend.

* Manage season change-over HTML feeds across the website Match Centre using Full-Time

* Work with our design partner in administering content for the season Directory and Cup Final programme, with digital editions available on the website.

* Supporting ad hoc member club enquiries (for example, change of Secretary within our online Club Directory)

* Support the continued growth of our social media audiences

* Provide a short activity report for the monthly committee meeting, held in person (either in Winchester or Southampton)

This is a voluntary role (aside reasonable expenses) which would make for a great portfolio builder for either a (sports) media student, or someone who is currently undertaking a similar role within a Club. Handover training will be provided.

DESIRABLE SKILLS

* Experience in WordPress or similar web design software would be advantageous

* A familiarity with basic SEO techniques

* Experience in creating social media posts across Twitter (X), Facebook & Instagram

* Familiarity with Canva graphic design tool and LinkTree

* A passion for football in general and/ or non-league/ the grassroots game

* Strong written communication skills and attention to detail

* An understanding of the FA's Full-Time platform

* Organised, reliable and responsible with an ability to make regular online updates in a timely manner

* Ability to work collaboratively in obtaining relevant information from various non-league stakeholders, such a committee members, County FA's, District FA's, photographers, news outlets and sponsors

ABOUT THE uhlsport HAMPSHIRE PREMIER LEAGUE

The uhlsport Hampshire Premier League is an FA Accredited League, with its Senior Division a Regional Feeder League to the Wessex League.

Comprising of 29 sides across two Divisions with fixtures mostly played on a Saturday afternoon, the League provides competitive football for clubs across Hampshire and its immediate surrounds, alongside two of its own cup competitions - the uhlsport League Cup and George Mason Memorial Shield.
