WEEKEND PREVIEW - SEPT 16

Sep 13, 2023

We start in the Senior Division, where leaders Liphook United have a tricky trip to Sway, who have had a decent start to the season.

Second-placed Denmead have an attractive-looking home game against Stockbridge. There is an exciting top five battle in prospect as Liss Athletic travel to Harvest. Locks Heath - still unbeaten after their midweek draw with Liss - will be looking to pick up points at Hayling United.

FIXTURES - COMING-UP

Infinity are within striking distance of the top five, and will be looking to put pressure on the teams above as they play Moneyfields Res, especially as the match has been switched to Sidlesham.

Paulsgrove entertain Sway in a battled of two teams that are currently mid-table. Nearer the bottom, both hosts Whitehill & Bordon and visitors Fleet Spurs will be looking for a result from their clash to move up the table, as will Bishops Waltham Swifts and Colden Common, who meet at Mountbatten.

TABLES

In Division One, the big match is at Headley United, as the home side play Meon Milton, fresh from a big League Cup win last weekend. Both teams are undefeated in the league so far, and this is first versus third.

Another game between teams in the top six is at the Norman Rodaway, where Hedge End Town entertain Upham. The two relegated sides play each other as Overton United play unbeaten QK Southampton.

There are also two games between teams in the bottom five as Broughton play Lyndhurst and Michelmersh & Timsbury face Twentyten.
