WEEKEND PREVIEW - 27 SEPTEMBER

Only league games this weekend, and a pretty full set of them, with some good matchups in prospect.


In the Senior Division, new leaders Crofton Saints' unbeaten record is on the line as they travel to play third placed (with games in hand) Locks Heath in the match of the day.


AFC Shirley, in second, also have a tricky task as they travel to Broughton. Denmead, in fourth, play their second game at their new ground at 32 Acres and it is another one against a team in form, opponents Hedge End Rangers have moved up to sixth on the back of four successive wins.


FIXTURES


Hook moved into fifth last weekend and have an attractive game against Meon Milton. Seventh-placed Whitehill & Bordon continued their good run, now five unbeaten, and they have another good-looking game at Bishops Waltham Dynamos, who will be looking to put their Southampton Cup loss behind them. Further down the table, the bottom two meet at Liphook where Andover Town are the visitors.


Just above them, Stockbridge have a difficult game at Liss Athletic, and just above the Robins, Southsea Sports host Moneyfields Res.

In Division One, leaders Overton United will be looking to extend their 100% record as they host Hedge End Town, which won't be easy. In second, and also unbeaten. Silchester Village host Paulsgrove, who gained their first league win last weekend after two good cup wins.


AFC Netley suffered their first loss last time out and entertain Sway. Nursling & Shirley, in fourth, travel to Mob Albion. Headley United also got off the mark last Saturday with a good away win and are on the road again this weekend with a trip to BTC Southampton, who will be looking get back on track after their Southampton Cup defeat.


Hayling United play Rushmoor Community, and two teams in the bottom five meet at Winklebury as Twentyten play Whiteley Wanderers.
