LIPHOOK CLAIM SENIOR DIVISION TITLE
Liphook United are champions of the Senior Division. Carl Harris' side claimed the crown seven days earlier with an unfortunate home walk-over against basement side, Fleet Spurs, with the cup presented after their 4-3 victory over Hook at the Recreation Ground.
Twenty-two wins from their 29 games meant the Recreation Ground side could not be caught with one to go. Nearest challengers, Locks Heath seven points behind with long-time leaders, Infinity - who had already wrapped their season - in third, and look set for a return to Step 6 football.
Liphook will be hoping to make it a league and cup double on Saturday (May 11) as they face Hartley Wintney Development in the Aldershot & District Intermediate Cup Final at the EBB Stadium (3pm).
Meanwhile, the Division One title is set to be decided on the same day, with Meon Milton needing a point to oust Hedge End Rangers at the summit - both sides already securing a top two finish.
